SOMERSHAM TOWN BAND

The band presently has vacancies for cornet players. If you can play the cornet, or indeed any brass instrument, the band would love to hear from you. We would also welcome beginners and those returning to music who would like to join either our main band or our training band. Instruments are available to loan. After a very busy and successful programme of Summer Concerts, Prom Concerts and Oktoberfest we now start the work up to a very busy Christmas period. Before that gets underway we do of course have the Remembrance Service at Somersham Church on 9th November. Please come along to that and pay your respects to those that gave their lives for our freedom. It is a very beautiful and moving service with local scouts, guides and British Legion all taking part.
Our Christmas programme includes no less than four full concerts at the churches of Godmanchester, Somersham and Ramsey and also at the St Ives Corn Exchange. Ticket arrangements for these events will be released in due course so please keep an eye on this web page or visit our Facebook page.
