WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE SOMERSHAM TOWN BAND
The band is a traditional brass band based in Somersham, a village 5 miles North of St Ives in Cambridgeshire. We are keen and enthusiastic amateur musicians who give our time freely for the joy of making music together in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Band Vacancies
If you can play any brass instrument, the band would love to hear from you. We would also welcome beginners and those returning to music who would like to join either our main band or our training band. Instruments are available to loan. So if you would like to join a friendly bunch of local musicians, or if you would just like to meet us for a blow, then please get in touch with us by email at somershamtownband@gmail.com or by selecting the Contact Us button below.
Our Next Performances:
Having completed a very successful programme of summer concerts and two well attended Prom concerts we are now working hard on our Christmas programme. We have a number of new pieces this year and will be looking forward to presenting these at our four Concerts at the churches of Godmanchester, Somersham and Ramsey, and also at St Ives Corn Exchange. Dates and times for these events can be found in our Upcoming Events page, the link for which is below. However, before those get underway we do of course have the Remembrance Service at Somersham Church on 8th November. Please come along to that and pay your respects to those that gave their lives for our freedom. It is a very beautiful and moving service with local scouts, guides and British Legion all taking part.
If you would like to book the band then please contact our engagements secretary by email: stband.bookings@gmail.com
or contact us through the Contact Us page.
