WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE SOMERSHAM TOWN BAND
The band is a traditional brass band based in Somersham, a village 5 miles North of St Ives in Cambridgeshire. We are keen and enthusiastic amateur musicians who give our time freely for the joy of making music together in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Band Vacancies
The band presently has vacancies for front row cornet players. If you can play the cornet the band would love to hear from you, position negotiable. We would also welcome beginners and those returning to music who would like to join our training band. Instruments are available to loan. Our Next Performances:
With our very busy summer programme and Oktoberfest now behind us we move into our Christmas programme. December is a particularly busy month with four Christmas concerts. The first of these is at Godmanchester church starting at 2.00pm. The early start time and the very low ticket prices are aimed at encouraging as many families as possible to come along and kick start their build up to the festive period. If you can’t make this event you will still be able to catch our concert at Somersham, Ramsey and St Ives Corn Exchamge on the 13th, 14th and 20th respectively.
