WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE SOMERSHAM TOWN BAND
The band is a traditional brass band based in Somersham, a village 5 miles North of St Ives in Cambridgeshire. We are keen and enthusiastic amateur musicians who give our time freely for the joy of making music together in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Band Vacancies
The band presently has vacancies for front row cornet players. If you can play the cornet the band would love to hear from you, position negotiable. We would also welcome beginners and those returning to music who would like to join our training band. Instruments are available to loan. Our Next Performances:
For our first engagement of 2025, the band will be attending the Family Wellbeing Event at Somersham Victory Hall on Sunday 27th April. This event, organised by the Somersham and Pidley Timebank Skills Exchange, is to showcase to local residents all the amazing groups that we have in the area that can help and support and build our wellbeing, both mental and physical. The band will be running a stall where those interested can try out an instrument and talk to band members to see if they or their children would be interested in learning to play one.
